Dass & Dutt were a famous and highly respected silver workshop in Bhowanipore, Calcutta, prominent from the late 19th century. Known for their exquisite Anglo-Indian silver featuring detailed repoussé work depicting rural Indian life, they were key figures in the distinctive Calcutta style of silverware and remain highly collectable. This stunning mug weighs 131g, measures 8.5cm tall, and dates to around 1880, a fine example of Dass & Dutt.
