Description
A super rare George 111 silver box in great condition by William Parker, London 1780. William Parker is a relatively unknown silversmith; the works of his craft are unquestionably magnificent. A quick search on the internet may not show up many archives; however, the few you may come across certainly have a lasting impression. The box is made from really heavy gauge sterling silver and weighs 155g, the hinges on the lid are invisible from the outside, and the piece opens and closes like a Rolls-Royce car door. The measurements are 8.5cm long x 3.2cm high and 4.2cm in width.
